This setting adds a new component carrier into waveform.

In the GUI, new carriers are added at the top of carrier list.

Add NB-IoT Synchronized Cell

This setting adds a new NB-IoT Synchronized Cell carrier into waveform which allows you to get an aggregated set of three carriers as described in the Notes row in the SCPI table below.

Refer to Carrier Settings ARB to know about the carrier settings applicable to the three carriers of NB-IoT Synchronized Cell.

Notes	Creates the following three carriers in a single operation: NPRACH NB-IoT (−5 MHz) UL NB-IoT (−5 MHz) DL NB-IoT (+5 MHz) All three are assigned NarrowbandCellId = 0.
Dependencies	This setting is available only when the waveform contains zero carriers. It is disabled if any carrier exists or if a synchronized cell is already present.

This table shows supported carriers on PWSG LTE and mapping information to carriers of Signal Studio LTE.

Click "+" button to add a carrier.

The carrier selection menu indicates the following structure and labels.

Maximum Number of Carrier Allocation

The following carrier configuration is allowed on Waveform Playback [ARB] capability.

1 CA carrier (Uplink CA or PRACH CA) and maximum 15 Continuous Waves or
maximum 16 Continuous Waves or
1 NB-IoT Synchronized Cell comprising of three carriers (NPRACH NB-IoT, UL NB-IoT, and DL NB-IoT)

For Real-Time Uplink capability, one fixed configuration is available.

1 CA carrier

32 Uplink E-UTRA component carriers can be added in an Uplink CA with Waveform Playback capability.

1 Uplink E-UTRA component carrier is configured with Real-Time Uplink capability. Add or delete carriers are not available on Real-Time Uplink capability.

32 PRACH E-UTRA component carriers can be added in a PRACH CA.

32 Uplink NB-IoT component carriers can be added in an Uplink CA with the Waveform Playback capability

32 NB-IoT NPRACH component carriers can be added in a PRACH CA.

Delete Carrier

This setting deletes the specified carrier. The carrier is specified by the carrier number, starting from 1.

Click "-" button to delete the specified carrier.

Number of Carriers

SCPI only, Query only.

Returns the number of configured carriers. A component carrier is counted as 1.
